In just a moment, I’m going to ask you to make a donation to our final 24-hour fundraising drive before tomorrow’s Election Day. But first, let me explain why I’m asking:
The Charlotte Observer just reported that “only one House special election in U.S. history has seen more outside spending than North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District.”
What’s most of it being spent on? National Republicans’ attack ads against Dan.
They’ve plowed millions into false attack ads to try to smear our campaign, and now they’ve called Donald Trump in to throw more lies and attacks at us during his rally tonight.
We’re doing everything we can to fight back. That’s why we launched a 24-hour fundraising drive. We need to hit our goal to make sure we can afford to reach the thousands of voters we still need to turn out.
So here’s where I ask:
Every poll shows our special election within the margin of error, so we cannot leave anything to chance in these final hours.
