Friend,
Teresa knows the importance of kitchen table economics in running a government.
As mayor of Columbus, she balanced the budget for the first time in 16 years without using any reserve funds. Columbus was ranked in the top 25 best-run cities in America when Teresa left office last year – because she did it while cutting crime by 42% and reducing unemployment and homelessness.
Compare that to the skyrocketing deficit and hypocrisy of this administration – as CNN did over the Senate recess, highlighting one senator in particular, Georgia’s David Perdue.
Trump’s tax scam paid for another round of Republican campaign donations while leaving ordinary taxpayers holding the bag. We need new leadership to keep us out of another Republican recession – make a $5 donation to Teresa’s race today. [[link removed]]
The federal deficit is skyrocketing, but since President Obama left office you won’t hear a peep about it from the Republican Party.
Since David Perdue promised that Trump’s tax scam would “pay for itself,” we’re $430 billion short on tax revenue with a $1 trillion deficit – 25% higher than last year. As a share of GDP, our deficit has nearly doubled, from 2.4% to 4.7% since 2015. As a result, experts are warning of yet another recession.
Republicans call themselves the party of fiscal responsibility, but it’s just another one of the lies that the Party of Trump has grown accustomed to telling.
The fact is, the last two Democratic administrations were the last two to shrink deficits — while Presidents Bush and Trump have driven us to economic ruin.
Georgia deserves a senator with integrity who will handle your tax dollars responsibly. Make a $5 donation to Teresa’s campaign so we can escape from another Republican recession and get our priorities back to serving you. [[link removed]]
