Hello Friend,

Today, the Rt Hon Winston Peters announced our 'Healthy Kiwis Package' during a public meeting in Rotorua.

We commit to:

- Increase Pharmac funding to 1.4% of GDP by 2023, in line with OECD average

- Expand free basic dental care for 18 to 25 year olds, Community Service Card holders and SuperGold Card holders

- Provide a free annual eye check for all over-65 year olds

- Give $10m towards free counselling sessions through I Am Hope

- Commit to funding the St John Ambulance Service with the level of funding they've asked for

During this term, we’ve drastically increased funding to overhaul our health system, expand free Doctors’ visits to under 14’s and funded a free annual health check for SuperGold Card holders.

However, there’s more that we need to do.

Our people are our country's greatest assets and it is crucial we invest in them.

By investing in the health and well-being of Kiwis early, we will reduce issues and costs down the track.

Commonsense thinking like this is the effect of havingNew Zealand First in government. That is why it is crucial for us to return to government after the election.

To do that we need your support.

We rely on people like you making small contributions to fund our campaign.

Every little bit will help our message reach as many people as possible.

Please contribute here.
