Mikie Sherrill :: U.S. Congress

Last weekend, President Trump announced his nominee for the Supreme Court with only a few weeks left before Election Day.

The choice of a Supreme Court justice is a decision that impacts Americans for generations -- it is a decision that we must take our time on and think critically about. Justices receive a lifetime appointment, often serving decades and making important rulings about health care, reproductive rights, voting rights, and so much more.

After the passing of Justice Ginsburg, Senate Republicans are rushing to fill the seat before the election, which is less than a month away. The average confirmation time for a Supreme Court nominee in the last 45 years is 70 days.

Do you believe we should wait to appoint a new Supreme Court justice until after the election?

[YES] [NO]

Thanks,

Team Mikie
