Dear John,

We're now one month away from the historic 2020 election. And in a political environment where Social Security and Medicare remain the target of devastating cuts and radical reforms, we need lawmakers and a president who will fight to protect and strengthen earned benefits — not simply provide lip service to preserving these critical programs.

With so much at stake, will you please make one urgent donation to help the National Committee make one final push before the election to convince more candidates to protect and boost — not cut — earned benefits?

The National Committee has devoted unprecedented time and effort to convince every candidate and incumbent that millions of Americans are counting on their earned Social Security benefits and affordable, quality health care under Medicare. And we are challenging the powerful political spin machine by working to get out the truth about how proposals introduced in Washington could impact your retirement and health security. Bottom line: we need more allies on our side who will reject harmful cuts and support legislation to boost benefits!

So this election, every vote is critical — because the outcome could spark the beginning of an era which could bring harmful changes for millions of American beneficiaries. That's why your gift today is so important! It will help boost our last-minute efforts to ensure the next Congress and President takes a strong stand for protecting and strengthening earned benefits for millions of hardworking Americans and their families!

And remember, if you're considering casting an absentee or mail-in ballot, I urge you to do so early. If you decide to cast your vote by mail, please read all of the instructions carefully and remember to sign your ballot before mailing it back. That way if there are any issues with your ballot you'll still have time to fix it. Learn more about your state's rules on absentee and voting ballot by mail.

Sincerely,

Max Richtman
President & CEO
