In a perfect world, we’d all feel loved and affirmed because our loved ones would know the best way to support us via attention to detail and intuition. Unfortunately, we don’t live in that world. Still, there’s hope that you will get better at making your partner feel good — and I want to help make that happen. The following is a list of small things we often wish our partners would do without asking.
The bad news is you have a new job you didn’t want and you’ve had little to no training for that job. The good news is that homeschooling doesn’t need to look like the 6.5-7 hour school day that your kids are used to.
After hearing them say things like “You shouldn’t use this product, and not this one because I heard on TikTok it’s bad for you,” and realizing it has become their news source on all things COVID-19 and this upcoming election, I’m literally losing my mind.
Your wife might post a confession about you someday—is it going to be “My husband is the best!” or “My husband sucks at life and my favorite moments of the day are when he’s not here and I don’t have to look at his sorry ass.” Your choice!
