©Stephen R. Meyer, Vero Beach, Florida, October, 2020
Issued 10/03/20
- In September, Republican registrations in Florida, relative to Democrat registrations, improved by an impressive 48,798 registrations. This leaves the Democrats with a 155,532 relative registration advantage (See attached chart and tables).
- The strong gains the Republicans are seeing in Florida registrations are coupled with large gains in the numbers of registered Florida voters. Month-to-month registrations in Florida increased from 14,072,065 in August to 14,284,840 in September, an increase of 212,775 registrations. The month-to-month increase in Republican registrations was 95,456 (roughly 45% of the 212,715 total registration increase).
-
The last day for voters to register or change registrations (post mark, online, in person) is October 5th. This report will be issued for a final time (at least for this election cycle) once the Book Closing Report (report of registrants eligible to vote in the 2020 general election) is made available.
- Praying that everyone associated with the campaign infected by COVID-19 make a speedy recovery!
