*Governor Parson's Schedule for October 6 - 8, 2020*

*(JEFFERSON CITY, MO) * On Saturday, October 3,Governor Parson completed his isolation period per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines. This week, Governor Parson will resume normal activity and travel to various meetings and events across the state.

Governor Parson will also be resuming his weekly briefings at the State Capitol this week. *_One briefing_* will be held on *Wednesday*, *October 7 at 3 p.m.* to provide and update on current events in Missouri.The briefing will be live-streamed on Governor Parson'sFacebook page [ [link removed] ], and pictures will be available onFlickr [ [link removed] ].

On*Tuesday*, *October 6*, Governor Parson will travel to St. Joseph to attend a ribbon cutting event at Missouri Western State University for the completion of their nursing program expansion project.

On *Wednesday*, *October 7*, Governor Parson will hold a video conference call with Southeast Missouri Superintendents and speak at the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce Business & Leadership Summit. Governor Parson will also hold a pinning ceremony to promote Adjutant General Cumpton from Brigadier General to Major General.

On *Thursday*, *October 8*, Governor Parson will travel to St. Louis to hold a ceremonial bill signing of HB 46, which removes the residency requirements for public safety employees in the City of St. Louis. He will also speak with health care professionals and first responders at Jefferson City Flying Service to thank them as part of America's Operation Thank You.
