I just saw this news: billionaire hedge fund manager Tom Steyer just qualified for the next round of DNC debates.

He spent $12 MILLION in just six weeks to buy online donors, dominate the airwaves with TV ads, and boost himself in the polls.

Look, you shouldn’t have to be a billionaire to run for President or participate in debates. Money doesn’t vote. People do. And I think the most important qualification any candidate should have is a record of getting things done for everyday people -- not a huge bank account.

I don’t have billions of dollars at my disposal -- and frankly, I don’t want it. I’m running for President to get Big Money OUT of our politics. That’s what I’ll talk about in future debates, but I need people like you to step up and chip in to help me get there. Can you donate today?

At this point, there isn’t much left to be said about the DNC’s debate rules that have allowed a billionaire hedge fund manager to bankroll his way to the stage -- and forced Governors and Senators with decades of public service out of the race.
