Many Americans are understandably in shock as Donald Trump is poised to appoint a far-right jurist to replace the legendary Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Supreme Court.

But this isn’t a surprise, John, this is the fruition of a plan that has been long in the making.

Let me explain.

There is a little-known organization in the United States known as the Federalist Society. This clandestine organization has been working for decades to infiltrate and subvert our legal education system, the law profession, our federal courts system, district courts, and yes, even our Supreme Court.

Shockingly, when Donald Trump ran for President in 2016, he promised to only appoint Federalist Society endorsed judges. He has kept his word, which explains why so many of his supporters refuse to ditch Trump even as he befouls his office.

We can’t roll over to this organization, John. This is a five-alarm fire, and I’ve been sounding the alarm. Will you help me fight back against this insidious force in the judicial system by donating today?

The Federalist Society has been playing the long game. They indoctrinate students with their hand-picked law professors. Then they serve as an employment agency for these graduated students, placing them in highly influential positions in the government and legal profession.

Then their members become experienced enough to be considered for court positions, and that’s where Donald Trump has given them free reign. With help from Lindsey Graham, Trump has filled hundreds of judicial posts (kept open during the Obama years by Mitch McConnell) with Federalist Society devotees.

So, John, we need to fight like hell against Donald Trump’s appointment of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court. But we also need to fight against this insidious operation to capture our courts and legal system. I’ve been leading the charge against the Federalist Society, but I’m standing up to a tough opponent. That’s why I’m asking you to chip in $15 or $20 so we can keep up this crucial fight.
