Hi John,

This weekend I spent an incredible afternoon in South Auckland, where I joined a group of our volunteers taking part in Labour’s Nationwide Day of Action, calling people up and down the country and asking them to get out and vote Labour this election - and I have to say, I feel absolutely inspired by being there, and knowing that we were just one of many teams across the country making thousands of phone calls.

You see, as someone who started out in politics as a volunteer, I know first-hand just how dedicated our volunteers can be. It makes me really proud to be part of a Party that inspires so much enthusiasm and attracts so many people willing to give their time to the cause.

As we enter the final phase of the election campaign, it’s vital we get our message in front of as many voters as we can. This weekend was all about mobilising our people to do that.

So, to everyone who has given their time on the phones, street corners and doorsteps, no matter where in New Zealand you are, thank you. Your efforts are making a real difference as together, we work to return Labour to Government and build a better future for New Zealand.

But there’s still more to do. There’s less than two weeks until Election Day, and with early voting now open, it’s more important than ever that we do all we can to make sure voters get out and give their two ticks to Labour.

If you didn’t get the chance to get involved this weekend, but would still like to play a role in our campaign, there’s still time to volunteer <[link removed]>. We’d love to have you on the team, so if you’re interested, sign up below to learn more about volunteering.

So, once again, I’d like to pass on my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has played a role in our campaign so far. No matter how big or small, your efforts are appreciated.

Let’s keep moving!

Jacinda

A short note on donations:

We have a plan to keep New Zealand moving, and it’s already underway. But to keep rolling out that plan beyond this month's election, Labour needs to win enough seats to be able to return to government.

John, we’re proud to be a truly people-powered Party, and it’s only because of the generosity of thousands of supporters like you chipping in what you can that we’re going to be able to run a winning campaign.

If you can, please click the button below to make a donation to our campaign fund today so together, we can keep New Zealand moving.
