The results are in, and after eight months of incredible campaigning from our eight contestants, the new Leader of the Green Party of Canada has finally been chosen by our members.

We want to thank everyone involved for all of the work they’ve put into making the Green Party of Canada 2020 Leadership Contest a major success!

• We’ve increased our membership to 35,000 members
• We’ve had over 68.8% voter turnout  
• We’ve raised over $200,000 for our Green Breakthrough Fund, and
• We’ve been powered by countless hours from volunteers 

And it’s all because of you, Greens.

As the results came in we watched in excitement!

And as we followed closely things became clear...

The winner and new Leader of the Green Party of Canada is:
