From the bottom of my heart, thank you. We reached our goal of raising 10K to help Sheila Bynum Coleman to turn out the vote to defeat the current Speaker of the House, Kirk Cox.

Our total: $10,393. And counting.

My introductory remarks on Saturday night. 4 minutes

Sheila was outstanding. She told us her story and who she is. And she inspired so many of you who came to give even more. And she told us how she will be knocking 1,000 doors a week through the end of the election. Watch her remarks below and stay tuned for opportunities to come knock doors for her with me south of Richmond.

Over the past 3 weeks, you have tolerated all my emails and facebook posts. I am so thankful for what you did and what we are building together. You know me well enough to know that I will ask again, but that I will always do so with humility and the knowledge that without you, none of this would be possible.

Because of you, this morning, I am serving Arlington and working toward a Virginia that helps make Arlington and America a fairer, more progressive place, with a very full heart.
