We're in a fight for the soul of our nation's democracy, and we can save it right here in Georgia: If our people-powered movement wins Georgia's Senate special election this November, experts now say I could be sworn in early – which means I could cast the deciding vote against the GOP's far-right Supreme Court nominee during the lame-duck session of Congress.

Right now, polling shows our grassroots movement surging – and everyone from Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight to The Washington Post says we can flip this battleground blue. We're on the cusp of making history by electing our state's first-ever Black senator and protecting the integrity of our nation's highest court – and with it, Roe v. Wade and health care for millions of Americans.

But because of our unprecedented success, Mitch McConnell is now mobilizing the entire GOP establishment to keep this seat red – and my Republican opponent is spending $20 million of her personal fortune to defeat me. We can fight back and win this race, but I can't do it alone.

If we want any chance at all of flipping Georgia blue, taking back the Senate and protecting the future of the Supreme Court, we need to raise another $9,854 by midnight – but time is running out, and as of now, we're still dangerously behind. So please, I wouldn't ask if it weren't important:
