Our deadline to raise $10,000 for our Progressive Majority Firewall Fund is tonight at midnight.

 

If Trump and Republicans get their way, they’ll use arcane laws to orchestrate a coup in the electoral college and deny Joe Biden the 270 votes he needs to win -- kicking the race to the House of Representatives, where Republicans control a majority of state delegations and can easily hand Trump the election. 

 

There’s still time to flip the state delegations we need for a true progressive majority in the House, but the races are getting closer by the day and powerful far-right special interests are stepping in to stop us.

 

We still need $3,254 to hit our goal. If we miss, and fail to gain a majority of state delegations, the election won’t matter -- because Republicans will be able to deliver the presidency to Trump on a silver platter.

 

You remember the times the GOP has cheated us out of the presidency: in 2000, in 2016, and now possibly again in 2020. You know the damage another four years of Trump will do to this country. 

 

You know an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure -- so please, pitch in what you can now to help us prevent a second term of Donald J. Trump.
