What's your plan, John?

John,

It's October 3rd -- and while many will tell you we're a month away from casting our votes in this year's elections, the truth is that we're already in the thick of it. All across the country, millions of voters are already casting their ballots by mail and in person.

This year's elections are happening right now and there's no more time to waste. And if that sounds urgent...well, it's because it is. So, here's my challenge to you:

Be an #OctoberVoter. Make a plan to vote early in person or by mail right now.

MAKE A PLAN

Voting early is an easy and convenient voting option and we've put all the information you need in one place. If you decide you want to vote by mail, know that every state offers it as an option -- though the requirements and deadlines can vary significantly by state. Check out our Voter Resources Hub for more information >>

If you decide to head to the polls early, be sure to follow CDC guidelines, review a sample ballot and double check your state's voter ID laws to make sure you're ready to vote. Our Voter Resources Hub can help you there, too.

Did you already vote or make your voting plan? Share it on social media using #OctoberVoter and use our Facebook profile frame to let family and friends know!

Over two million people so far have already cast their ballot for November's general election. Voting early by mail or in person allows you to check it off your list ahead of Election Day and ensures your voice is heard.

So make a plan and commit to being an #OctoberVoter. Then cast your ballot as early as you possibly can -- the sooner the better.

P.S. Once you've made your plan, share it with three friends and ask them to do the same. Let's all head into November knowing we've already done one of the most important things we can do this year -- voting.
