Coming back from deployment I am extremely focused on putting all of my efforts into being with family and spending time on work that matters - doing everything I can to support our candidates in this pivotal election in our democracy! There has never been a more important moment in our lives to use our collective energy in the political process.

I believe that the best way we can spend these last few weeks before Election Day is in reaching out and getting our candidates elected. We can’t do this without each and every one of you.

Frank, Joel, Lee, Karla and the California Democratic Party's Coordinated Campaign (especially Joe Armenta), have organized and built a phone bank calling system that we all need to take part in. These next 5 days are critical to our election results and all that we have worked towards!

This is a pivotal election in our democracy and calling voters for our endorsed candidates is the most important work we can all do right now.

I’m looking forward to connecting with you all in the coming weeks and pushing together to Election Day.

The scheduled phone banks start with an orientation session, coaching for new phone callers. Pick the day of the week that works best for you and RSVP.

Saturdays (Oct. 3, 7, 10, 24, 31) - Phone Bank for Brynne Kennedy, Pamela Swartz, and Jackie Smith

Time: 10am - 1pm

Sundays (Oct. 4, 18) Local Phone bank for El Dorado County endorsed candidates in Rescue, Buckeye, BOS 1, Los Rios CCD, & South Lake Tahoe

Time: 12 noon - 2pm

Mondays (Oct. 5, 12, 19, 26) - Phone Bank for Brynne Kennedy, Pamela Swartz, and Jackie Smith

Time: 5:30pm - 8pm

Tuesdays (Oct. 6, 13) Local phone bank for El Dorado County endorsed candidates in Rescue, Buckeye, BOS 1, Los Rios CCD, & South Lake Tahoe

Time: 4pm to 6pm

Thursday (Oct 8) Local phone bank for El Dorado County endorsed candidates in Rescue, Buckeye, BOS 1, Los Rios CCD, & South Lake Tahoe

VIRTUAL PHONE BANK TRAINING PALOOZA - October 3 & 4 (Get Ready to Get Out The Vote!)

This is the most important election of our lifetimes. Everything we hold near and dear is on the line, and we must do everything in our power to defeat Trump, Mitch McConnell, and their cronies. Direct voter-to-voter contact is the gold standard for turning out the massive numbers of voters we need to cast a ballot to flip the Senate and hand Trump & Co. an overwhelming and unequivocal defeat. And phone banking is the best tool we have right now to reach those voters.

To accomplish this, we need an army of trained and confident volunteers. That's where we come in. Join Flip the West and Commit to Flip Blue for a weekend phone bank training extravaganza, which will get you ready for our big Get Out the Vote (GOTV) drive starting October 5. Choose sessions from our schedule; each session is described under the schedule.
