Hi John -- Yesterday, I shared the news that Donald Trump Jr. named Zeldin his MAGA candidate of the Week and is hosting a fundraising event for my opponent in just a few days. We know they’re going to raise hundreds of thousands to be used in their next attack campaign against me -- and we need to be ready to counter their investment. With groups like the NRCC and the CLF spending heavily to keep NY-01 red, I know we’ll need to increase our spending. That’s why I set a personal goal of raising $75,000 more before tonight to ensure my team has every resource they need to reach the hundreds of thousands of voters we’re counting on to cast their ballots. Trump and Zeldin have outright rejected science for political gain and have spread lies about the pandemic, about voting, and about every shortcoming we’ve seen under this administration. I fully expect these far-right outside groups to outspend our people-funded campaign, but I’m certain we can outsmart them if we have the resources to.
