There are a lot of important races this year -- every race is important -- and we know you might not be following every single one, so here’s a quick overview of the folks we’re asking you to support and why:

Raphael Warnock is running to replace Kelly Loeffler in Georgia. Loeffler’s history of corruption and corporate pandering has endangered the lives of millions of Georgians -- and this race is a “jungle election” where Warnock needs to get 50% of the vote to avoid a runoff. It's possible that no Dem will be on the runoff ballot if he doesn't make the top two. If Warnock has a strong enough showing, he could join the Senate this year -- and if he finishes in the top two and ends up in a runoff, he’ll still need our support.

Theresa Greenfield is running to replace Joni Ernst in Iowa. Ernst has voted again and again and again to deny health care coverage to Iowans with pre-existing conditions and against reducing the cost of prescription drugs. Iowans deserve better. Nate Silver calls this race a toss up and we can win it!

Cal Cunningham is running to replace Thom Tillis in North Carolina. Tillis voted thirteen times to repeal the Affordable Care Act, and his reactions to the COVID-19 crisis show he’s more invested in protecting the Trump administration than his own constituents.

Al Gross is running to replace Dan Sullivan in Alaska. In just his one term in the Senate, Dan Sullivan has acted as a rubber stamp for Trump, even standing by as Trump worked to dismantle the Postal Service -- a vital agency for Alaskans.

Jaime Harrison is running to replace Lindsey Graham in South Carolina. Lindsey Graham has worked tirelessly to focus the federal government’s COVID-19 response on protecting corporations -- and he’s using his position as Chairman of the Senate Committee on the Judiciary to help Trump ram through an unprecedented Supreme Court nomination.
