I have a lot of titles, John, but my most important one is mom.
Today is my son Timothy’s tenth birthday, and I am in awe of everything he’s accomplished -- including the fact that he is living through a pandemic and attending school virtually to keep other children and teachers safe.
He knows that kids like his classmates need adults who will make sure children have health care, don’t go hungry, have opportunities regardless of socioeconomic circumstances and can grow up in a world with clean air and clean water. And that’s why, through it all, he has remained my number one supporter. I’m so proud of him.
