As we grapple with the implications of the events of the last
several days, and how each of us must act, we offer you two pathways
for reflection: the words of Lyndon LaRouche, and today's LaRouchePAC
Town Hall with Helga Zepp-LaRouche and Harley Schlanger.
LaRouchePAC has insisted, throughout the assault on the
Presidency and the nation, that Donald Trump cannot govern without the
support of an informed and mobilized citizenry. It is now more urgent
than ever that you take the responsibility for organizing your fellow
citizens to understand the principles around which you must mobilize.
In 1998, Lyndon LaRouche delivered an extraordinary speech which
identified the quality which must be evoked today:
We in the United States, not merely because
of the power of the United States, despite our wrecked condition
today, but because of our tradition and heritage, have a unique
responsibility, a moral responsibility on this planet. We're the only
nation-state thus far which was formed and founded and dedicated to
this principle, that every man and woman is made in the image of God,
and that we must have a system of social relations, and law, which is
based upon that as the fundamental governing principle of the
nation-state... We have something here, which we have
betrayed, and we have lost. If we call it forth again, it is a great
power among us, and we have to do that for the sake of humanity." Read

How to Think in a Time of
Crisis? Take a Cue from Beethoven!
LaRouchePAC will convene an Emergency Town Hall On-Line Meeting
with Schiller Institute chairwoman Helga Zepp-LaRouche, on Saturday,
October 3rd at 2:00 PM to address the strategic maelstrom erupting in
the United States and around the world, now exacerbated by the
announcement that President Trump and the first lady have tested
positive for COVID-19.
On October 3, 1990, thirty years ago, the nation of Germany was
reunified after 45 years. Three years earlier, in August, 1987, Lyndon
LaRouche wrote an article entitled: “Will Berlin Become Germany’s
Capital Again?” even as he was being unjustly persecuted, through a
Boston trial proceeding, by Robert Mueller and others. LaRouche
forecasted: “I believe, that if I become US president in 1989… that
Berlin might become the capital of a re-unified Germany.... I say this
in all seriousness. I say this not to brag, but as a useful way of
illustrating a very important point of statecraft for today’s troubled
age.”
There was no “evidence” whatsoever for LaRouche’s forecast at the
time. So far as anyone else in 1987 could perceive, the Berlin Wall
stood as strong, as defiant, as oppressive and impenetrable then, as
it had from when it had first been constructed in 1961. Though Mueller
and his henchmen successfully carried out their orders from British
Intelligence to put LaRouche in jail in January of 1989, the Berlin
Wall fell on November 9 of that same year, and his forecast of German
reunification came true less than a year later.
