This week, Governor Hogan announced the resumption of indoor visitation at Maryland nursing homes where no new cases have been reported in at least 14 days, as well as the expansion of child care providers to full capacity. The state of Maryland is also committing an additional $6 million for testing nursing home staff as rapid testing technology continues to advance.

Maryland also recorded zero new COVID-19 deaths for the first time since March 28th.

Governor Hogan Announces Resumption of Nursing Home Indoor Visitations After Maryland Records Zero New Deaths​

Governor Hogan announced the resumption of indoor visitation at Maryland nursing homes where no new cases have been reported in at least 14 days, as well as the expansion of child care providers to full capacity. The state of Maryland is also committing an additional $6 million for testing nursing home staff as rapid testing technology continues to advance.

This comes the same day that Maryland recorded zero new COVID-19 deaths for the first time since March 28th. 

Governor Hogan also wished [link removed] President Trump and the First Lady “a speedy recovery,” offering that his and Yumi’s “thoughts and our prayers are with them both.”
