I don't have to tell you that this is a pivotal time for our nation and for the entire planet, and that there is a monumental clash taking place right now between two very different political visions.

Not to get you too nervous, but the future of our country and the world is dependent upon which side wins that struggle.

And the way we will win that struggle is by building a strong grassroots movement never before seen in American politics. That is what this campaign is about.

Here is the truth: There are many powerful individuals and corporations who want nothing more than to defeat us.

They want to maintain a system in which the rich continue getting richer while everyone else struggles to get by. And they will spend obscene amounts of money in order to defend their profits and protect the status quo.

Well, the last time I checked, there are more of us than there are of them. And if we bring our people together and build the kind of grassroots movement that can take them on, we will be unstoppable.
