John -- We are a nation on edge tonight.
 
I watched the debate last Tuesday, and while I don’t agree with a lot of the policy proposals that Joe Biden espouses, I was left feeling that we as Americans need to get our moral compass back on track. 
 
We can’t stand idly by while a president fans the flames of bigotry and sows doubt on the validity of our electoral process. As a country we have to do better. We can BE better. 

Most of us know how important it is to bring integrity to our government and elect representatives who haven't sold out to the highest bidder. But the events of the last week have driven the point home to everyone. 
 
We don’t know what will happen with the presidential race, but we do know that restoring checks and balances and electing a Senate that works for the people is critical. 
 
As we near the final stretch of the most important election of our lifetime, we need you with us every step of the way.
