We're fired up — the radical pro-gun group Virginia Citizens Defense League is harassing and trying to intimidate supporters of Mayor Levar Stoney.

It's disgusting that they would stoop to this new low, but we shouldn't be surprised — this is straight out of the national Republican playbook. But here's the worst part — attacks like this can work if they're not corrected.

Our ability to respond will depend on how many grassroots donations we can get in the next 24 hours. We've set a goal of raising $10,000 to make sure we can fight back against these attacks, but we need your support to get there.
