We have to speak up about this, John.

Right now, Republicans are attacking Christy with outright lies -- lies that the fact-checkers have rightly called them out for.

But voters in the 25th district are hearing this misinformation ahead of receiving their ballots because far-right special interest groups are pouring millions into this race. We can't let voters cast their ballots without knowing the truth.

Now, we aren't surprised that Mike and his far-right boosters are taking the low road in this race. Mike can't run on his record -- it may be short, but it's way too extreme for CA-25 voters, full of rubber stamping Trump's agenda.

Here's the situation: The majority of CA-25 voters are ready for a representative who will stand up to the radical right. We know because there are 30,000 more registered Democrats than Republicans in our district.

But we risk losing that advantage if they only hear the GOP's lies about Christy. With Ventura County starting to mail ballots to voters today, we need to hit back hard with the facts about Christy's record of fighting for kids, women, and working families.
