I will never forget watching our women on the Senate Judiciary Committee question Brett Kavanaugh during his Supreme Court confirmation hearings.

Senators Harris, Klobuchar, Feinstein, and Hirono powerfully stated their support for Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, and demanded that Kavanaugh address the very serious allegations against him.

We are about to see another rushed Supreme Court confirmation process begin, this time to fill the vacancy left by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Mitch McConnell has made clear he will stoop to horrifying, hypocritical, fundamentally undemocratic lows to force this confirmation onto the Senate floor.

But our women will be right there, fighting this process every step of the way. We can count on Kamala, Amy, Dianne, and Mazie to call this confirmation hearing what it is: a desperate power grab by Republicans who are more concerned with destroying women's rights than enacting the will of the American people.

Our women in the Senate need backup. We need even more women to stand up to Republicans and restore dignity and democracy to the Senate floor.
