Hey John,

October is now here, and thanks to you, we surpassed our last end-of-quarter online fundraising goal before the election and had our best fundraising month ever. I can’t thank you enough.

Now, we find ourselves in the last month before Election Day and just one week away from the first and only debate in this race to flip Washington’s 3rd district. This will be a pivotal moment in our campaign, as Southwest Washingtonians get to hear from both candidates on what they can offer our district in Congress.

Here’s what I can offer: an independent voice for the people, a commitment to protecting and improving our health care (not repealing it without a replacement), a plan to lift our communities up and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, and solutions to help working families, not corporate special interests.

My life has been shaped by hard work and giving back to those around me, from the time I stepped in and helped my mom run the family produce stand when my dad was hospitalized, to my 24 years of teaching students at WSU Vancouver.

I’ve held more than 80 events during this campaign to hear from Southwest Washingtonians directly, because it’s clear their voices have gone unheard by Jaime Herrera Beutler, who hasn’t held a single public town hall in almost four years.

It’s time for folks in the 3rd district to be truly heard and represented in Congress. And I’m ready to fight for you.

This race is neck-and-neck with a new poll showing us just two points behind in the polls. These last few weeks leading up to Election Day can make or break us, and if we’re going to win, I need you by my side until the very end.
