Dr. Joseph Ladapo is one of the doctors we’ve been working with through the Second Opinion Project. This week, he released a new report that is a must-read. It’s titled, “Randomized Controlled Trials of Early Ambulatory Hydroxychloroquine in the Prevention of COVID-19 Infection, Hospitalization, and Death: Meta-Analysis.” A summary of the results and conclusion state:
“Five randomized controlled clinical trials enrolling 5,577 patients were included. HCQ was associated with a 24% reduction in COVID-19 infection, hospitalization or death, P=.025 (RR, 0.76 [95% CI, 0.59 to 0.97]). No serious adverse cardiac events were reported. The most common side effects were gastrointestinal. Conclusion--Hydroxychloroquine use in outpatients reduces the incidence of the composite outcome of COVID-19 infection, hospitalization, and death. Serious adverse events were not reported and cardiac arrhythmia was rare.”
It is past time to end the politicization of all potential COVID treatments. How many Americans must suffer or die before the President’s political opponents put America first, ahead of their political ambitions?

Saturday, President Trump made history, yet again, when he introduced the country to his 3rd Supreme Court nominee, Judge Amy Coney Barrett.
Following the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, there was intense debate on whether the vacancy should be filled before or after the 2020 election.
However, Presidents are not elected for 3 years and 6 months, they are elected for 4 years. So, President Trump, well within his power, moved forward with the nomination process. Not only that, but history and precedent demonstrate that when the White House and the Senate are controlled by the same party, the nominee has been confirmed during a presidential election year in every instance but one (when there were serious questions about the nominee’s judicial ethics).
We applaud the President’s quick and decisive action and look forward to a swift Senate confirmation of Judge Barrett.

Following the announcement that President Trump intended to nominate Judge Barrett, Democrats did what they do best: they threw a giant tantrum.
They immediately responded with a bevy of threats; one of the worst being their threat to pack the Supreme Court.
Following such an outrageous threat, the Presidential candidates were asked where they stood on court packing.
The Trump Administration came out strongly against the proposal, correctly calling it a danger to our republic. But, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris had nothing to say on the matter...
Why? Because the truth is, like many in the Democratic Party, Biden and Harris secretly support court packing -- seeing it as an opportunity to pack the court with liberal justices who will completely destroy our law and Constitution as we know it. And action that was too radical for FDR is not too extreme for Biden and Harris.

After months of waiting, the first presidential debate finally took place this week between President Trump and former Vice President Biden.
The Supreme Court, taxes, healthcare and much more were up for discussion in the first round of the candidates going head to head. And the debate went exactly how we expected it to go...
President Trump out-smarted and out-debated Joe Biden at every turn, despite Biden’s best attempts to outwit the President. Biden was even clearly aggravated at certain points, refusing to refute valid counterpoints brought up by the President. At one point, Biden even told the President to “shut up.”
Without question, President Trump won the first debate.
