Hi there,
Yesterday our chair, Congressman Pete Aguilar, wrote you about the plan Republicans are hatching to steal the election from Joe Biden.
The long and short of it: the GOP wants to act immorally but not unlawfully to block electoral votes to Biden, denying him the 270 he needs to win. Their plan is to throw the election to the House of Representatives -- where Democrats currently lack the majority of state delegations required to secure a Biden presidency. That's right: Donald Trump's whining about a rigged election might actually end with Republicans rigging the election for him.
The good news is we can prevent this dastardly plot, but ONLY if we flip the state delegations we need for a majority.
That will be no easy task: the races are close, Trump has thrown his considerable weight behind the GOP candidates (knowing his legacy is on the line), and millions in dark money are pouring into this campaign.
We know exactly the candidates we need to support -- in crucial states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Florida -- but right now we're $6,388 short of the funds we need to carry them over the finish line and protect this election from Trump's evil schemes.
You've been a constant supporter throughout this election cycle. You're engaged, informed, and aware. You see the writing on the wall: Trump is going to try to steal this thing, and we HAVE to stop him before he does.
If you want to help us do just that, please, chip in whatever you can now to our Progressive Majority Firewall Fund. Your donation will foil Trump and the GOP's best-laid plans -- and put our Democratic allies in a stronger position than ever to safeguard our election, our country, and our future. >> [link removed]
We're so glad to have you on the team. Thank you for being the reason we can win.
