Recent New York Times polling found that Biden is leading Donald Trump by at least five points in a number of states Trump won in 2016, giving him an advantage in electoral votes.

But another recent poll from The Associated Press covering all Americans, not just likely voters, shows Biden’s national lead is shrinking, with Biden holding just a four point lead compared to his twelve point lead in June.

Our actions over the next 32 days will determine the outcome of this election -- and these polling trends show there is still room for Trump to pull ahead and win as he did in 2016, especially given his attempts to preemptively undermine the election results and attack mail-in-voting. As the second presidential debate quickly approaches, we’re working to rally overwhelming support for the Biden-Harris ticket, but not nearly enough voters have confirmed that they are behind us.
