As we approach the 2020 election, the vacancy on the Supreme Court proves the stakes have never been higher.
In four years, and through three vacancies, President Trump has kept his campaign promise to appoint conservative judges to secure liberty for the next generation.
His nomination of Amy Coney Barrett is the next and most important step in this process. Judge Coney Barrett is a constitutional scholar who won't legislate from the bench. I know the Senate will move swiftly to confirm Judge Coney Barrett, bringing the court back up to full strength and increasing the number of constitutional conservatives who will hold the line.
The Democrats are learning a hard lesson. Their destruction of Senate precedent and their attempt to smear Justice Brett Kavanaugh have backfired. But to cement our conservative victories and prevent their far left agenda, we must win in November.
That mission starts right here in Congressional District Six. I've worked hard to keep up a busy schedule while recovering from the side effects of cancer treatment, but it hasn't been easy.
