This appalling act of voter suppression isn’t just a thing of the past -- we know he’s done it before, and he’ll do it again. After all, the entire GOP election strategy is based around keeping as many Americans away from their ballots as humanly possible.
We’ve seen Republicans pass racist voter ID laws, close polling places, purge voters from the rolls, impose modern-day poll taxes, and even threaten to use law enforcement to scare Americans from fulfilling their civic duty.
