I'll get straight to the point, friend.
My home state of Texas is quickly becoming one of the most important battlegrounds in the race for the White House, the Senate, and the House. And one of the most pivotal races is happening in TX-24, where Candace Valenzuela is running a grassroots campaign to break the Republicans' decades-long grip on the North Texas suburbs. We’re on the verge of making history by flipping this seat, but we can’t win without your help. Stories like Candace's -- a young woman of color who grew up homeless moving from place to place -- don't usually end in Congress. Food stamps helped her mother feed her and younger brother. Public schools helped her receive an education, graduate college, and become the first Afro-Latina elected to her local School Board. Right now, the programs that helped her family stay afloat are under attack by this administration. Candace understands more than most that the American Dream is eroding under Trump, and I know she’ll be the fighter that working families need. That’s why I’m proud to endorse her campaign.
