AAPC's inaugural President's Award Recipient, Luis A. Miranda Jr., is the subject of the upcoming documentary, SIEMPRE, LUIS, which will debut on HBO Tuesday, October 6th at 9:00 pm EST during National Hispanic Heritage Month.
AAPC’s President’s Award recognizes lifetime achievement in public service and lasting contributions to the fields of political consulting and issue advocacy. The President's Award will be awarded at the 2021 Pollie Awards & Conference in Las Vegas, NV, held live and online May 25-27, 2021. Check out what Luis has to say, below. The documentary is a portrait of Luis and his journey over decades fighting for Latinx communities, working in local and national politics, while raising Lucecita, Lin-Manuel and Miguel. It is a story that embodies the tenacity and passion of the American Dream - we can’t wait for you all to see it!
