Georgia’s first quarter of the fiscal year is a wrap, and our latest job numbers are out.

 

This week, I was proud to announce that Georgia remains the epicenter of economic development and job growth in America.

 

Over the last three months, hardworking Georgians created more than 10,000 jobs across all regions of the state!

 

Beyond the jobs created, the numbers also show that we generated more than $3.71 BILLION in new investments in our Georgia economy.

 

So how does this data stack up to last year?

 

We’ve achieved a 50 percent INCREASE in new jobs created vs. the same quarter last year, and an 85 percent INCREASE in new investments.

 

Thanks to smart, conservative, pro-growth, and pro-freedom economic policies, the fundamentals of our economy remain strong–even during a pandemic.

While encouraged by our continued success, we know there are challenging days ahead. We need to re-elect President Trump, protect our Majority in the U.S. Senate, and elect Republicans up and down the ballot in Georgia.
