1. NC VALUES: Celebrate with
Walker, Forest, Hudson, & Krawiec at the NC Values Celebration of
Carolina Values 2020 virtual event
An amazing lineup of North Carolina political leaders such
as Lt. Governor Dan Forest,
Congressman Richard Hudson, and
NC Senator Joyce Krawiec will join
together with us and our emcee & honored guest speaker,
Congressman Mark Walker, on October 8th at 7:30pm in
support of the NC Values Coalition in a celebration of Carolina
Values.
Would you consider virtually joining them and other pro-life,
pro-family, and pro-religious liberty champions from across the state
for this exciting event?
This night of virtual fellowship will feature keynote
speaker Gianna Jessen, a pro-life
advocate and abortion survivor whose compelling personal story reminds
us of the reality of why we fight for the rights of the unborn.
Your generous $20.20 or more donation
to access the online event helps advance our 2020
election strategy and support our important work defending your
values.
Will you consider joining us
virtually for this memorable night by purchasing your $20.20 virtual
access pass today?

2. NC VALUES: NC Values Endorses
Catherine Truitt for NC Superintendent of Public Instruction. Watch
our NC Values Voice interview with Truitt at
ncvalues.org/voice
On this week's program of the NC Values Voice, we welcomed
Catherine Truitt, candidate for NC Superintendent of Public
Instruction. We can't think of anyone better to fill the position of
Superintendent of Public Instruction than Catherine Truitt, and it is
with great enthusiasm that we endorse her for that position! Please
watch this week's episode of The Voice to learn Catherine Truitt's
opinions and values on public education. As she
discusses some of the hurdles in the last several years and her vision
for education, we believe you will see why she is the only qualified
candidate in the race for this position.

3. NSJ: Gov. Roy Cooper
announces modified Phase 3 to begin Friday
ICYMI: "Gov. Roy Cooper announced on Wednesday, Sept. 30 that the
state will move forward into Phase 3, although restrictions will
continue in some areas.
In today’s executive order, which takes effect at 5 p.m. on
Friday, Oct. 2, businesses in industries that have been closed, such
as amusement parks and movie theaters, will be allowed to open with
restrictions on seating and capacity. Those restrictions include
mandatory face coverings and limits of 30% capacity."

4. NY TIMES: For Conservative
Christian Women Amy Coney Barrett’s Success Is Personal
"But for many conservative Christian
women, the thrill of the nomination is more personal. Judge Barrett,
for them, is a new kind of icon — one they have not seen before in
American cultural and political life: a woman who is both unabashedly
ambitious and deeply religious, who has excelled at the heights of a
demanding profession even as she speaks openly about prioritizing her
conservative Catholic faith and family. Judge Barrett has seven
children, including two children adopted from Haiti and a young son
with Down syndrome."

5. NC VALUES: Carolina Values
Summit Rebroadcast
Earlier this week we had a special rebroadcast on 9/27 of the
Carolina Values Summit 2020, a ground-breaking online summit for
Christian leaders featuring an impressive lineup of speakers who will
equip you to resist growing attacks on religious
freedom.
The Summit’s purpose is to show Christian voters
the threats to our religious liberties can be stopped if they will
just get out and vote. We encourage pastors and churches show the
Summit video and its speaker's testimonies at church services and
small group meetings, and use them to motivate their congregations to
VOTE.

WEEKLY PRAYER: PRESIDENT TRUMP & FIRST LADY MELANIA
TRUMP
LORD, we come to you per your instruction to pray for our
leaders and those in authority. At this particular time, we lift up to
you our President and the First Lady, who have tested positive for
COVID-19. Father, we pray that you may protect their health. We pray
that their symptoms may be mild, and that the virus may pass their
bodies quickly. We also pray for the health of our nation as a result.
This year has already brought with it a number of exhausting trials
and tribulations, and we pray that our president's health may not
deteriorate the state of affairs any deeper. Bring repentance and
peace to our nation. Be with all those families who have been ravaged
by the virus, and with those individuals currently undergoing its
effects. Bring to them healing, and help our nation recover and find
your promised peace.
Amen

Will
you chip in $100, $50, $25, or even $10 to help the NC Values
Coalition continue to fight for your rights? You can donate by

Sincerely,
North Carolina Values Coalition
