REPUBLICAN PARTY OF NEW MEXICO STATEMENT ON NEWS THAT PRESIDENT TRUMP AND FIRST LADY HAVE TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

ALBUQUERQUE, OCTOBER 2 — The following is a statement from Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce regarding President Trump and the First Lady testing positive for COVID-19:

“The Party and I want to express our support and extend our heartfelt wishes for a speedy recovery to the First Family. Like the many others around the world and here at home who have contracted this virus, the President and First Lady are taking the proper course to quarantine and to take the appropriate measures for a quick and full recovery. Our thoughts and prayers are with President Trump and the First Lady at this difficult time.”
