During the presidential debate earlier this week, Americans heard President Trump and Vice President Biden make mention of both the Proud Boys, a right-wing extremist group, and Antifa, a left-wing and anti-fascist militant protest movement. As antisemitism is surging across the country, and politically-motivated violence is seen in some American cities, it has perhaps never been more important for us to understand the dangers of extremism in our nation. Join us for a conversation with criminologist and civil rights attorney Brian Levin, professor and Director of the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at California State University, San Bernardino, to analyze the state of extremism in America today.
