It will put us on the path to dramatically cutting pollution across all sectors of our economy: from transportation, to agriculture, to manufacturing, and beyond.
Achieving 100% clean energy across the U.S. economy is not only ambitious — it is necessary. And entirely possible.
Because of climate change, violent storms, wildfires, and sea level rise threaten our health and communities. But recent scientific innovations give us hope: technology removing carbon directly from the air is developing; practices that make agriculture more climate friendly are expanding; and a diversity of clean energy sources — and the jobs they create — are becoming more widely available.
As the effects of climate change worsen, and as our climate innovations and technology improve, we need strong leaders to push for policies that make net-zero emissions possible.
