Thanks to your support and the generosity of thousands of grassroots donors, we crushed our goal and closed a considerable gap in our organizing budget. Under a short deadline with ambitious goals, this team showed the nation that anything is possible when people stand together.

And now, because of you, John, change is possible for Florida's 1st.

September has not been easy for our country. Our state is recovering from the destruction wrought by hurricane Sally, wildfires engulfed the West Coast, the Senate has yet to pass a COVID relief bill for working families in need, more than 200,000 Americans have died from the coronavirus, and we lost a revered leader in Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

It may seem bleak for many, but for me, these hardships serve as a reminder of everything on the line this November.

Matt Gaetz doesn't see it that way, as far as he's concerned, these national emergencies don't matter because they don't affect him. In fact, the more dysfunctional our lives are, the easier it is for him to misdirect and divide us.

It won't be easy to defeat Gaetz and tackle the issues facing our communities, but I know we can do it because I have all of you fighting alongside me. There are 33 days left in this election. Let's keep up the good work.
