Dear John,

Arts and Action:

Join us October 11!

We've been working hard night and day to fight voter suppression in the most
important election of our lifetime.

So it's time to kick back and recharge and remember what we're fighting for.

CCAN Action Fund invites you to: "Arts and Action: A 'Fight to Vote' Fundraiser"
on October 11th from 5:00-6:00pm ET.
[[link removed]] Only 23 days before the biggest election of our lives!

Do you miss going to concerts? Or the theater? We're going to re-create that
feeling on Zoom, and you won't want to miss it. Featuring music, magic, dance, and drama by award-winning artists, this event
will support CCAN’s “Fight to Vote Campaign” — mobilizing resources and renewing
our shared resolve to advance climate action and defeat Donald Trump. We’re
partnering with LubDub Theatre Company for this one-night-only event.

For the last few months we’ve been working hard to educate voters in underserved
communities and important swing states on how to navigate the voting barriers
many face. We’ve made it easy for voters to check their registration status,
know their state’s rules and regulations and most importantly — make a voting plan. We’ve reached thousands of voters and we’re still at it!

We know that just about everything we stand for is at stake right now and we
pledge to keep fighting — right up to Election Day. But we sure are looking forward to taking a hour to
refresh our spirits and recharge our batteries. An evening of art and action is
just what we need. Please take this opportunity to support this fundraiser and
the "Fight to Vote" campaign. Tickets are just $11.99 and proceeds go directly
to the artists and our work helping underserved voters get access to the polls.

RSVP today and enjoy the beauty and magic of performance art on Zoom while also
helping fight in this final stretch.

It’s time to summon all of our efforts to oppose the extraordinary threats
facing American democracy and the health of the planet. While we gather to
celebrate the inspiring and healing power of the arts, we look forward to
sharing the ways that you can help us make the biggest impact on this election
in its final stretch. We’re inspired by the legacy and words of Justice Ruth
Bader Ginsberg: “Fight for the things you care about. But do it in a way that
leads others to join you.” COVID-19 has made joining difficult; we miss coming
together in homes and concert halls and theaters—but we’ll keep finding new ways
to fight together at this moment of deep urgency and real potential for change.
We invite you to join us—safely—in this opportunity to connect with one another
through the arts and to reaffirm that we are not alone.

Let’s get together on October 11 to renew ourselves with the joy of art while we
continue our fight for our democracy.
