Right now, people with diabetes face a higher risk of dying from COVID-19—2x higher for people with type 2, and up to 3.5x for those with type 1. This is unacceptable.
To end this pandemic that’s killing members of our community, we must invest in research that will unravel the question of why—and then find ways to end the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on people with diabetes
