Dear Jack,
Are science and faith really in conflict? Just how “scientific” are the claims of leading atheists? Has science disproved God? Or do new scientific discoveries actually provide compelling support for faith? These are the issues that the renowned John Lennox, Professor of Mathematics at Oxford University, is famous for tackling head on.
And now he does so in a new movie that is half biography and half travelogue, AGAINST THE TIDE: FINDING GOD IN AN AGE OF SCIENCE.
AGAINST THE TIDE will only be in theaters one night on November 19. Get your tickets now so you don’t miss out seeing this on the big screen!
“Against the Tide explores profound scientific reasons for believing in God — explained by a man, whose life bears powerful witness to His reality,” said Stephen Meyer, director of the Center for Science & Culture.
The first half of the movie, set in Oxford, shows Lennox revealing the scientific arguments for and against the existence of a designer outside nature. The second half follows Lennox’s story around the globe, as he makes a case for identifying the designer with a Christian understanding of the deity.
