Ruth Bader Ginsburg understood that the law must be an instrument of justice. She understood that the American people need a Supreme Court that works for everyone, not just those in power.

Less than an hour after her passing, however, Trump and the GOP made it clear that they would do everything they can to corrupt our highest court and deny us the rights we value most, like access to health care, reproductive freedom, LGBTQ+ equality, environmental protections, and so much more.

We can't let this happen. Join us in calling on the Senate to wait until after our next president is inaugurated to confirm the next Supreme Court Justice: [link removed]

The election is already underway. Right now, people across the country are casting their ballots to decide the next president of the United States, and whether or not Republicans will maintain their stronghold in the Senate.

Trump and the GOP know this--that's why they're rushing to confirm their nominee, Amy Coney Barrett, before Election Day. They know that Americans want a Justice who will uphold the rights of the people, not Trump's special interests. Trump and his enablers want to speed through the process so they can deny the will of the American people, and that's absolutely unacceptable.

We need every voice in this fight. Demand that your senators wait until after the inauguration of the next president before considering the next Supreme Court Justice: [link removed]

The state of our democracy is at risk. We need you in this fight with us.

Sincerely,

Rebecca Harrington.
