John,
Kids can’t vote, but the outcomes of this election could shape their lives for a generation. As you get ready to vote in one of the most consequential elections of our lifetime, we want to make sure you have the tools and resources you need to vote on behalf of children. That’s why we developed a series of “flashcards” to explain what is at stake for our children in this election, which you can explore on Instagram and Twitter. Explore the flashcards: From rising hunger and homelessness to school and child care closures to police violence against Black and brown communities, our children are struggling. And the COVID-19 crisis has only exposed and inflamed the magnitude of racial disparities in this country that hold our children back.
I’m motivated to vote for children in this election because I know these crises are all interconnected. I know they are all rooted in systemic racism. And I know they all can be solved.
