Congress took a major step this week but they still need to hear from you. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ id:2020-08-31-18:50:41:217t

Save the Children Action Network is the political voice for kids.

Rural family receiving a food delivery

Congress just passed a bill that will help ensure millions of kids receive food during the school year, but many will still go hungry. Tell Congress – we still need to expand SNAP benefits!

Hi John -

Great news!

Yesterday, Congress passed legislation that included funding for a food safety net program that will help reduce the number of children going hungry.

This wouldn’t have happened without the work of activists like you. Save the Children Action Network supporters sent more than 60,000 messages to their members of Congress asking them to take action to fight food insecurity.

Thank you – your activism made a difference!

But we’re not out of the woods yet. Congress has not yet acted to increase Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. Without increased funds, moms and dads will continue to struggle to keep food on the table while they work to get back on their feet.

Send a message to your members of Congress today – we need to increase SNAP benefits so children don’t go hungry!

Thank you for being a voice for kids,

Diana Onken and her children

As we head into the November election, Save the Children Action Network will be working to get out the vote – for kids! Please donate to support our efforts today!
