  • The Commission on Presidential Debates announced on Wednesday it would change the format of the remaining debates. “The Commission on Presidential Debates sponsors televised debates for the benefit of the American electorate. Last night's debate made clear that additional structure should be added to the format of the remaining debates to ensure a more orderly discussion of the issues,” the commission said in a statement. 

  • Joe Biden raised $3.8 million in one hour during Tuesday night’s debate, setting a single-hour fundraising record for ActBlue. He raised $10 million in total the night of the debate.

  • Biden is holding a virtual fundraiser on Thursday.

  • Donald Trump began airing an ad on Wednesday featuring Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett and calling on supporters to stand up for conservative values. The clip is part of an ad buy worth more than $10 million.

  • Trump is holding a fundraiser at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, on Thursday. 

  • Former Trump campaign manager and senior adviser Brad Parscale stepped down from the campaign on Wednesday.
