With lockdown measures in place, the risk of severe hunger is real for families like Ruth's in rural Africa who rely on local markets to sell produce and buy essential items.

Your support will help families like Ruth's to feed their children and be in a better position to get through this crisis.

Ritah (pictured below) is a community resource volunteer for Send a Cow in Uganda and throughout the pandemic, she has been supporting families in her village with vital health and hygiene training. She knows first-hand the difference your support has and will make:

With income lost from being unable to access local markets to sell their produce, families will also learn business skills like soap making so that they can earn an income in their local community and provide for their families.
