Friends,
Don’t forget the 350 Fairfax virtual general meeting on tonight, October 1, at 7:30 pm! This is what’s on the agenda:
-
Learn: We have assembled a panel of locals who are passionate about reducing waste in their faith communities. We’ll hear from Ed Sabo from St John Neumann in Reston, Loretta Rowe from Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fairfax, Meg Mall from Church of Holy Comforter, and Mary Rose Jayna from Accotink Unitarian Universalist Church.
-
Discuss: We’ll talk about how we can apply ideas and actions raised by the panelists in our own communities and workplaces. We’ll also have an update on the Community-Wide Energy and Climate Action Plan process. (Thank you to all who participated in the county’s survey!)
-
Act: It’s the first day of the 2020 Plastic Free Challenge so we’ll all make sure we’ve registered! Register here.
